Parexel is seeking a Clinical Research Associate II to join our Clinical Operations Team in Spain. This role can be office-based in Madrid or decentralized in the regions of Madrid or Barcelona.
As a Clinical Research Associate II, you will be responsible for conducting qualification visits, site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and termination visits at assigned clinical sites. You will also be responsible for building relationships with site staff, protecting patient rights, driving productivity, and ensuring quality.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of clinical trials methodology and terminology, as well as excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. You will also need to be fluent in Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct qualification visits, site initiation visits, monitoring visits, and termination visits at assigned clinical sites
- Build relationships with site staff and promote rapport
- Protect patient rights and ensure compliance with protocol and regulatory requirements
- Drive productivity and develop patient recruitment strategies
- Ensure quality and integrity of reported data
Requirements:
- Site Management or equivalent experience in clinical research
- Strong understanding of clinical trials methodology and terminology
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight
