About the Role

sennder is a leading digital freight forwarder in Europe, revolutionizing road freight logistics through data-driven innovation. We're seeking a skilled Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join our Carriers and Drivers department in Berlin, Barcelona, or Madrid.

The Asset Planning team at sennder is developing a logistics platform to efficiently manage and schedule assets such as trucks, trailers, and drivers. As a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, you'll participate in designing and developing complex event-driven architectures and asynchronous systems, leveraging cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and innovate new solutions within our team's scope, brainstorming new ideas and transforming them into actionable designs.
  • Take ownership of team components and libraries, ensuring consistency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other teams to drive quality across the stack, adhering to solid engineering principles and providing detailed feedback.
  • Participate in the development of a robust event-driven microservice architecture and micro-frontend framework.
  • Collaborate with product managers to design and plan features that align with broader business goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event-driven and asynchronous systems, particularly with microservices.
  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or similar.
  • Proficiency in Typescript, Node.js, and Vue.js.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment practices and infrastructure as code.
