We're looking for a talented Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our AWS Infrastructure Services team, you'll be responsible for supporting all AWS data centers and ensuring the smooth operation of our servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment.

As a Data Center Operations Specialist, you'll work closely with our software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver the highest standards for safety and security.

You'll be responsible for:

  • 7x24 roster duty in data center operations
  • Incident first responder and onsite hands-on support
  • Break-fix and troubleshooting according to process guideline
  • Maintain proper media operations according to process guideline
  • Capacity landing and decommissioning according to process guideline
  • Site management and maintain tidiness in operation areas
  • Innovate and contribute from day-to-day operation experiences to improve operation efficiency

Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines, and 1 year of experience in server/network hardware and operation systems maintenance/troubleshooting.

Preferred qualifications include industry experience in Data Center Operations, knowledge of data center networking, cloud computing, and continuous process improvement.
