International Business Development Director for Defense

Ericsson is seeking an experienced International Business Development Director to join our Mission Critical Networks team. As a key member of our global sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the defense sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the MCN global head of sales for Defense and teams within Market Areas to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Secure cross-company collaboration to ensure that required functions and roles are involved in due time and ready according to the defined strategy.
- Lead opportunity qualification and develop sales strategies for qualified opportunities.
- Guide the creation of opportunity engagement plans, define stages and targets, and manage resources required.
- Map customer operational requirements into recommendations and solutions, and develop contents and supporting material for workshops and customer sessions.
- Contribute to defining industrial setup, including Go-To-Market options, risk analysis, commercial, contractual, and negotiation strategy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience with a deep understanding of the mobile communications market.
- At least 10 years of experience in the defense market, with a strong network and reputation.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to plan, anticipate, and adapt to changes.
- Perseverance and resilience in navigating long-sales cycles.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform regular market analysis and define business strategy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multinational and diverse environment.
