Job Summary: TN Spain is seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist to support our client's growing portfolio of projects globally. This opportunity is currently available for a dedicated individual to lead the HSE function and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the HSE team and support the Engineering and Operations teams for Pre-Start-up Safety Reviews and commissioning activities on new process lines
- Develop processes to manage safety risks related to interfaces between project activities
- Investigate incidents, accidents, near misses, or non-conformities that occur on the project site and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on HSE matters and report on HSE performance and plans
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS management in a project environment, preferably in the same or similar industry sector as the project
- Complete knowledge of applicable HSE laws, regulations, standards, and best practices
- Certified or eligible for certification as a professional HSE practitioner by a recognized body
- Track record of success in building a safety culture and enhanced safety capability among employees and contractors
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Spanish
