Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growing organization, Theramex, as a Strategic Account Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing sales opportunities for Women's Health brand(s) to defined customers – hospitals, clinics, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve targets as defined by the national sales manager
  • Manage profitability of accounts on territory
  • Develop business partnerships to grow sales within defined territory
  • Implement strategy to drive sales of key products on territory
  • Identify commercial opportunities to partner with private clinics
  • Manage relationships with customers on territory
  • Promote Theramex in line with values, Passion, Integrity, Collaboration, and Agility
  • Liaise with marketing and sales to drive product differentiation on territory
  • Gain formulary inclusions in accordance with sales and marketing plan
  • Develop working relationships with hospital personnel to influence adoption pathways and purchasing decisions
  • Maintain a high degree of knowledge for our product portfolio and developments in the clinical purchasing environment
  • Complete all company administration and reports within guidelines and time scales to ensure a high standard of management information

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will have a track record of success in sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, and experience of working with healthcare professionals.

Requirements

  • Educated to degree level preferred
  • Qualified to relevant governing body standards to sell pharmaceutical products
  • Experience in Key Account Management (preferred)
  • Successful track record in selling branded products (ideally to hospital customers)
  • Knowledge of procurement within sector
  • Demonstrable understanding of negotiating hospital contract purchasing
  • Knowledge of Private Healthcare, Fertility, and Women's Healthcare, and Theramex

Salary Range: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
