Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions.

What you bring:

  • Relevant higher education in a related field
  • Broad understanding of fixed enterprise connectivity products, IP networking and data technologies

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Experience of SDN and virtualization technologies
  • Core expertise in a good number of topics on network and IT infrastructures enabling Systems and Tools applicable to the SDN and NFV market
  • Service and Domain Orchestration, automation and Inventory for real-time network
  • Next generation assurance principles and frameworks (OSS, AIOps)

Key technologies, frameworks and API:

  • Public and private cloud architecture and components
  • Data collection and Telemetry
  • Data modelling, processing and management
  • Programming languages (e.g. Python)
  • Analytics, visualisation (e.g. Grafana) and Incident response platforms (e.g. Pager Duty)
  • Service Management (e.g. Service Now)
  • Network modelling languages (e.g. yang, yaml, netconf)
  • Traditional network operational mechanisms (e.g. Syslog, SNMP, Netflow)
