We are seeking a highly motivated and visionary leader to join our team as a Medical Scientific Liaison in Cataluña. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the management of people at risk of developing or with Type 1 Diabetes.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain robust, long-term peer relationships with key external experts, including KOLs, Endos, and other scientific stakeholders.
- Conduct high-touch scientific exchange with experts from key accounts to convey a compelling and highly scientific narrative on T1D disease stages, importance of screening and treatment.
- Engage with experts from key accounts to share scientific data, answer scientific questions, and support them in developing best practices.
- Link internal partners to external thought leaders for education and research collaboration.
- Disseminate scientific information, including innovative medical education materials and research concepts, to KOLs and foster medical and scientific information exchange between the medical community.
- Tailor engagement to different segments of stakeholders based on comprehensive stakeholders' mapping and local go-to-market model.
- Work with cross-functional teams to leverage an omnichannel approach in engagement with external experts and orchestrate high-touch and personalized engagement.
- Operate in cross-functional teams in agile settings to support people at risk identification, improve patient pathways, and remove barriers.
- Stay up-to-date about medical and scientific developments in the Type 1 Diabetes field.
- Promote experience sharing among key external experts to reinforce consensus on screening and treatment protocols at local level.
- Gather data and identify insights from in-field stakeholder interactions and provide feedback to the cross-functional organization.
- Support Market Access teams in driving access strategy by engaging with regional payers and key account decision-makers.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in a scientific or medical field, preferably with experience in Specialty/Rare disease/Type 1 Diabetes field-based Medical activities. A PhD, PharmD, or MD degree is highly preferred. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to utilize effective, professional communications to cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external colleagues.
You should be an agile learner, comfortable operating in complex environments, and working on multi-disciplinary teams. Ability to build a proper environment to enable a Playing to Win culture to flourish is essential.
