Job Title: Associate Director/Director

Fitch Ratings is seeking an experienced Associate Director/Director to join our Global Infrastructure and Project Finance Group (GIG) based in London, Madrid, or Milan.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the credit ratings process for new and existing transactions within the transport sector, including ports, toll roads, and airports. They will also be involved in the writing and publishing of research projects, as well as leading outreach activities for the transport sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the credit ratings process for new and existing transactions within the transport sector
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the transport sector, including trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely credit ratings
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including issuers, investors, and other market participants
  • Contribute to the development of Fitch's credit rating criteria and methodologies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a credit rating agency, financial services firm, or investment management company
  • Proven expertise in the transport sector, including project finance and corporate structures
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex credit ratings decisions
  • Fluency in English is a prerequisite, with additional languages an advantage
