Cloud Platforms Engineer

At Datadog, we're building the Infrastructure Monitoring products that help our customers monitor their cloud infrastructure. As a Cloud Platforms Engineer, you'll work on building out new features and functionality into our original product. Your systems will be operating at a high-scale, and will be used directly by customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and share ownership of cloud integrations
  • Work with product and engineering leadership to design, implement, and deliver the next generation of cloud observability products at Datadog
  • Assist in efforts to reduce toil, automate mechanical processes, and move code to config

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, self-starter builder who takes pride in solving problems for customers
  • Proven ability to own and deliver features in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Experience working with or on cloud computing
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific field or equivalent experience

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Go concurrency concepts
  • Leadership skills - project management, mentorship
  • Experience using or integrating with a cloud provider observability API
  • Experience building integrations at scale
