The University of Alicante is seeking a highly motivated pre-doctoral researcher to collaborate in the project GLORiA-TOOLS, a research initiative aimed at developing tools for long-term sustainability in aquaculture.
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of €1,347.86 gross monthly, plus extra payments in accordance with current regulations.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will work on various tasks related to the project, including preparation of biological samples, organic waste treatment and analysis, and biosensor development. They will also have the opportunity to pursue a doctoral thesis under the guidance of the University of Alicante Research Group in Marine Biology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, applicants must hold or be in the process of obtaining an undergraduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Chemical Engineering, along with an official Master's degree or equivalent. They must also meet the academic requirements necessary for admission to the PhD programme in Experimental and Biohealth Sciences at the University of Alicante.
