Job Description

We're seeking an experienced Paid Social Specialist to join our Digital Marketing Team. As a Paid Social Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and executing the global paid social strategy, ensuring we get the optimal results out of our paid social channel. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their career and who likes working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with the Paid Social Team Lead on the strategy, roadmap, and priorities
  2. Build and optimize campaigns in the paid social channel across the full marketing funnel (brand/prospecting/performance)
  3. Analyze results on a daily basis and optimize your campaigns based on set KPIs
  4. Support local initiatives and tests, in close collaboration with local marketing teams
  5. Test the latest advertising possibilities (alpha's beta's) and ensure G-Star is an early adopter
  6. Work closely with both internal stakeholders (Ecom, BI, UX, Creative, and Regional teams) and external stakeholders (Meta, agencies, etc.)
  7. Report into the Paid Social Team Lead

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in efficiently managing paid social campaigns across the full digital marketing funnel and experience in working with large budgets across multiple countries
  • A deep understanding of Facebook Business Manager and Google Analytics – bonus if you have experience with Smartly, Pinterest Ads Manager, Snap Ads Manager, or Tiktok for Business Manager
  • Experience in working in cross-functional teams and multi-regional teams
  • Experience with data feed management tooling, social advertising tooling, and working with scripts is a plus
  • It's a plus if you have agency experience – you have either worked at or with a digital marketing agency
  • Great written and verbal communication skills in English. An additional language (Dutch, German, French) is a plus
  • Relevant experience in Fashion and/or Retail industry
