We are seeking a highly motivated Lab Technician for our team at the Josep Carreras Leukaemia Research Institute (IJC).

Main Responsibilities:
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can assist in various laboratory tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Tracking lab supplies and equipment orders.
- Managing the onboarding process for new lab members.
- Communicating with commercial suppliers and vendors.
- Participating in scientific discussions and meetings.
- Optimizing and standardizing laboratory protocols.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
- Assisting in the preparation of samples for experiments.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of experiments and results.
- Training new lab members in standard laboratory procedures.
- Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
- Maintaining laboratory inventory.
- Supporting in the design and execution of experiments.
Your Profile:
We are seeking an individual who has a high level of motivation and interest in laboratory research. A strong educational background in a relevant field is preferred, along with experience working in a similar role or internship position. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and practices would also be beneficial. A competitive salary package commensurate with experience will be offered. Estimated salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per annum. Plus benefits including health insurance, pension plan, paid holidays, and professional development opportunities.
