Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Outerwear Fashion Designer to join our Womenswear team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the Outerwear Womenswear collection according to the established Massimo Dutti client.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and develop the outerwear collection, achieving a solid proposal with concepts and qualities.
  • Stay up-to-date with fashion trends and ensure an innovative collection that meets the commercial characteristics of Massimo Dutti brand.
  • Conduct inspiration shopping trips to top reference cities for the brand.
  • Develop mood boards, colors, and materials for each collection section.
  • Sketch models and prepare technical datasheets for sample development.
  • Research and select fabrics for the collection.
  • Follow up on sample development and make improvements as needed.
  • Participate in product development trips to production countries to ensure timely and high-quality production.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as buyers and product managers, to gain a clear understanding of the collection's needs.

Requirements

  • University Degree in Fashion Design.
  • More than 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in luxury brands.
