We are seeking an accomplished Small Animal Orthopedic Surgeon to join our esteemed team at Hospital Aúna Especialidades Veterinarias. As a respected expert in the field, you will lead our existing team as the Head of the Service.
About Us:
Hospital Aúna is a 24-hour referral-only hospital renowned for its excellence in various veterinary specialties, particularly in orthopedics and soft tissue surgery. Located in Valencia, we offer a state-of-the-art facility with cutting-edge equipment, including two fully equipped operating rooms, a 16-slice CT scanner, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, HD Storz Video endoscopes, ICU, cardiology and oncology spaces, separate circuits for dogs and cats, and more.
The Role: Our ideal candidate will be an experienced ACVS/ECVS Diplomate Specialist or examination candidate who can provide top-notch care for our patients while mentoring junior surgeons and residents. You will work closely with our dedicated team of over 70 professionals, including European specialists in various disciplines, to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include leading clinical practice, mentoring interns, and participating in ongoing education and training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge. In addition, you will contribute to the development and implementation of new treatment protocols and procedures, ensuring that our hospital remains at the forefront of veterinary medicine. If you are preparing for board exams, a part-time position is available before transitioning to a full-time Head of Service role.
