Job Title: Postdoctoral Position in Catalysts Development for Sustainable Fuel Generation from Waste
Job Summary:
CIC energiGUNE is seeking an experienced researcher to work on the development of novel catalysts and catalytic systems for the valorization of CO2 and plastic waste to decarbonized products. The selected candidate will participate in the Pathfinder OPEN project WASTE2H2, which aims to develop efficient and selective plastic waste deconstruction to fuels and other valuable materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, synthesis, and characterization of novel catalysts/catalytic systems
- Development of fixed-bed, batch, and other reactors under non-conventional and conventional heating sources
- Implementation of characterization tools to analyze reaction products
- Collaboration with team members to maintain high scientific productivity
- Preparation, presentation, and reporting of research results
Research Area: Thermal Energy Storage and Conversion (Thermocatalysis and Ionic Liquids Research Group)
