Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Vessel ICT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the electrical team on ICT and communication side, ensuring good IT knowledge is applied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in coordination with the electrical team to ensure effective ICT and communication systems.
  • Plan and implement electrical maintenance reporting to the Electrical lead/Chief Engineer.
  • Respect and adhere to HSE and Quality procedures and practices.
  • Monitor and control on-board electrical/electronic equipment according to safety procedures.
  • Define maintenance work setting priorities and propose maintenance schedules.
  • Propose to the superior the required quantity of material stock levels to maintain work continuity.
  • Ensure work activities are carried out in compliance with safety procedures and practices.
  • Ensure the efficiency and maintenance of ICT equipment (server, communication antennas, telephone system).
  • Apply modifications as needed to ensure the vessel complies with project IT requirements.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in IT management infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Cisco infrastructure systems, capable of managing L3 switches and VLANs.
  • Ability to interface IT and IoT networks while adhering to company cyber security restrictions.
  • Offshore experience.
  • Fluent in English.
