We are proud to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Actuarial Reserving Specialist to join our team at Zurich Australian Insurance Ltd. In this challenging role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our organization by analyzing and interpreting complex actuarial data.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in non-life reserves, with a strong background in actuarial modeling and risk assessment. Fluency in English is essential, as you will be working closely with international colleagues. Additionally, advanced skills in Office, SAS, Python, and ResQ are highly desirable.

As a Reserving Actuary, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and performing actuarial analyses, including loss and premium projections;
  • Providing consultation on actuarial models and capital modeling under various regulatory frameworks;
  • Supporting reserving, portfolio profitability management, reinsurance, and market-facing business units;
  • Collaborating with Finance, Claims, Risk, Capital Management, and other functions on strategic business decisions.
