Job Description

At SLS Barcelona, we're looking for a talented individual to join our Food and Beverage team as a Dining Service Associate. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their experience is nothing short of extraordinary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the team with Food and Beverage operations
  • Be the face of our guests' experience, making sure they have a great time from arrival to departure
  • Create a fun and relaxed atmosphere where guests can unwind and enjoy themselves
  • Work with the team to keep things running smoothly and tidily
  • Describe drinks and menu items to guests, highlighting their origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • Set up and manage inventory, ensuring food and beverages are well stocked
  • Maintain overall cleanliness and maintenance of the working area
  • Be ready to jump into ad-hoc duties when colleagues need help
  • Work with restaurant and kitchen colleagues to offer seamless food service
  • Comply with departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Anticipate guests' needs and provide attentive and intuitive service
  • Assess customers' needs and preferences, making recommendations
  • Respond to dissatisfied guests, ensuring their satisfaction
  • Closely guest checks, process payments, and comply with safety and HACCP standards

Qualifications:
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have a high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests
  • Ownership of important issues, problem-solving, and effective decision-making
  • Quick learning and adaptability to SLS's unique culture
  • Humble and open to ideas, with a willingness to try new approaches
