Job Summary

The Straumann Group is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure of our global network.

Main Responsibilities

  • Design and implement network security architecture to protect our global network infrastructure
  • Configure and troubleshoot network security firewalls, VPN access, and other security systems
  • Administer and maintain the Cisco Identity Services Engine and Cisco Umbrella infrastructure
  • Participate in IT security projects and conduct on-site rollout activities in international operations
  • Maintain system documentation, including Visio network diagrams
  • Handle tickets related to incidents, service requests, and changes

Requirements

  • Educational background in technical computer science, with a degree from a recognized institution
  • Palo Alto Certification and Cloud Certifications (AWS or Azure) are advantageous
  • At least 5 years of experience in network security, with at least 3 years of architecture experience
  • Extensive experience in troubleshooting, with good networking skills in Switching & Routing
  • Good service management skills and experience with AAA methods (Radius, Tacacs+, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, IPSK, Captive portal,...)
  • Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, with German being an advantage
  • Independent and highly customer-oriented personality, with a passion for learning and continuous improvement
