Purchasing Assistant Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our team at DSI Underground Spain. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for controlling all aspects of ordering, from raising initial purchase orders to delivery of stock into our system.

Key Responsibilities

• Administering order acknowledgements and confirmations, including follow-up and taking actions on deviations from purchase orders
• Giving purchasing support to internal users
• Identifying, preparing, and proposing sourcing activities
• Updating stock records accordingly
• Onboarding suppliers, ensuring imports are organized with relevant customs requirements

Requirements

• A degree in logistics, economics, or supply chain management or a related field
• 1-2 years of work experience in administration and service, preferred but not required
• Working knowledge of MS Office skills
• Very good command of English language; other languages skills will be an asset
