Postdoctoral Opportunity in Supramolecular Materials
The Universitat de Barcelona invites a highly motivated and skilled postdoctoral researcher to join our team focused on the chemically fueled self-assembly of functional supramolecular materials. Key Project Goals:
- Design and synthesize novel molecular building blocks for porous supramolecular materials.
- Investigate the hierarchical self-assembly of these materials under dissipative conditions utilizing microfluidic devices to enable controlled supply of chemical fuels.
Requirements:
- PhD in Chemistry with expertise in organic synthesis and compound characterization.
- Proficiency in characterizing self-assembled materials using spectroscopy and microscopy techniques.
- Experience with microfluidic technologies, metal-organic cages, or numerical modeling of reaction networks is desired but not mandatory.
What We Offer:
- A competitive estimated annual salary of approximately €44,500 - €53,600, depending on qualifications and experience.
