Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead our dynamic engineering team at Saber. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the technical direction of our company and driving the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and vision to your team, establishing standards, processes, and best practices to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of software engineers and QA specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation, excellence, and knowledge sharing.
- Product Alignment: Collaborate with product management to align technical strategies with the product roadmap, ensuring the successful delivery of new features, enhancements, and products.
- Technology Stack: Continuously assess and optimize the technology stack, making informed decisions on tools and technologies that support scalability and performance.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and champion best practices in software development, quality assurance, and testing to ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality solutions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders from product, user experience, delivery, and architecture to ensure effective cross-functional teamwork and successful execution.
- Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and roadmap planning, optimizing the performance of your engineering team.
- Talent Development: Attract, retain, and develop top engineering talent within your team, fostering career growth and skill development.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, with a strong background in software development.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire and motivate team members, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in agile methodologies, with a strategic mindset and proactive attitude.
- Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with peers and key stakeholders.
