About the Role

Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled FPA Analyst to support our Global OPEX COE. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring proactive and timely high-quality forecasting, reporting, and analysis of Opex costs. You'll work closely with business partners to provide insights and support decision-making, and contribute to the overall finance transformation roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the month-end close process from an FPA perspective, focusing on OPEX PL
  • Perform detailed reviews of actual spend with finance business partners and budget holders
  • Summarize key findings to support discussions and decisions aimed at improving business unit/ regional profitability
  • Assist in the production of the monthly cost forecast submission and updating of related systems
  • Support the annual budget process, including the design of templates, critical review of planning assumptions, and creation and analysis of business cases
  • Provide insights into financial performance through accurate, timely, and relevant reporting
  • Assist directly with business heads by helping them with daily finance needs
  • Regularly interact with various business partners
  • Interpret and clearly communicate results, reports, and analysis
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and create new reporting related to cost management and governance meetings as appropriate
  • Maintain and improve processes supporting financial planning and analysis activities
Requirements
  • 2+ years of working experience, preferably in an FPA department
  • Solid understanding of forecasting and budgeting processes
  • General accounting knowledge (accruals, prepayments, costs recognition)
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong MS Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot) and PowerPoint skills
  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication
  • Pro-active and hands-on approach
  • Strong IT affinity to drive required digital agenda in FPA (EPM, Hyperion, SAP BPC, SAP Analysis, BI tools, Power BI)
