About the Role

We are seeking a skilled RFID Field Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support for our innovative RFID solutions to our retail customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, security systems, and RFID technology, with excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for the installation, maintenance, and operation of RFID solutions, ensuring timely and continuous delivery of technical support services.
  2. Product Support: Offer technical support for the entire range of Sensormatic products, including customer facilities and internal staff.
  3. Development and Testing: Develop new solutions and test existing ones, preparing manuals and product guides as needed.
  4. Incident Resolution: Resolve and attend to incidents and breakdowns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  5. Field Support: Assist field technicians in the installation and maintenance of installed technologies, according to business strategies.
  6. Product Launch and Training: Analyze new product launches, validate, implement, and train teams on product deployments.
  7. Complex Solutions: Implement complex solutions for end customers, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  8. Customer Training: Provide on-site customer training and support during the installation and commissioning phase of installed technologies.
  9. Communication and Reporting: Communicate with HQ and factories for technical product incident resolution, reporting any failures, technical, operational, or security anomalies.
Requirements
  1. Technical Education: Hold a technical education, such as a vocational upper secondary qualification in electronics, information technology, electrical engineering, or automation technology.
  2. Technical Experience: Possess previous technical experience in electronics security systems, especially EAS and RFID technology.
  3. International Travel: Be willing to travel internationally approximately half of the time.
  4. Language Skills: Have a good level of English language proficiency.
