About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to lead our sales efforts in the Benelux region, focusing on optical networking equipment and refurbished devices. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and cultivate relationships with large and medium-sized prospects, driving business growth and revenue.

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new customers and expand existing relationships.">
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client service and support.">
  • Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.">
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, inventory, and account notes.">
  • Stay informed about company products and services to provide expert advice to clients.">
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively.">
  • Foster strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients to drive business success.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • ">
  • A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, or a related field (not mandatory).">
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in Dutch (C1/C2 level) and English.">
  • 4+ years of experience in sales or a similar industry, preferably in optical components and networking equipment.">
  • Adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to work collaboratively within the company and externally.">
  • In-depth knowledge of customer behaviors and industry trends.">
