We're seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team and work on Age of Empires. As a programmer, you'll utilize your C++ skills to help bring our games to life. In return, you'll be part of a creative and supportive team environment with the ability to have a direct impact on game development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working in a C++ codebase on a custom engine
- Maintaining and developing features for the game and tools
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on features
- Regularly debugging, profiling, and optimizing code
Requirements:
- Prior experience working on RTS/Strategy games in a professional setting
- Proven senior-level engineer experience in C++
- Recent experience working in the video game industry
- Experience working in a team environment
- B2 English level – conversational and written
- Player/development experience with Age of Empires games is a plus
Location: Must be local to Málaga, Spain or working remotely in UK/EU (EU time zones required)
