We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Data Analyst to join our team at Miodottore. As a key member of our Financial Reporting team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the evolution of financial reporting in a challenging and stimulating environment.

Your primary objective will be to assist the business in making decisions based on data, with a particular emphasis on producing reports as the primary and most reliable source of information. You will work closely with stakeholders to develop reports, analyses, models, and recommendations that enable us to gain a deep understanding of how we can enhance the satisfaction of both doctors and patients.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking key financial metrics and KPIs, ensuring they align with organizational goals
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive financial dashboards using advanced BI tools
  • Providing detailed insights into financial performance, trends, and variances
  • Providing insights for long-term strategic decisions
  • Data Management and Integration: Ensuring accurate and timely collection of financial data from systems like Oracle NetSuite
  • Integrating data from multiple sources for a unified financial view
  • Performance Measurement: Analyzing profitability and cost efficiency to identify improvement areas
  • Regulatory and Compliance Reporting: Supporting audits and for regulatory documentation
  • Automation and Process Improvement: Automating repetitive financial tasks to improve efficiency and implementing process improvements to reduce manual efforts and errors
  • Enhanced Reporting and Visualization: Utilizing BI tools like Tableau for dynamic, interactive reports and dashboards

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Econometrics or a related field
  • Demonstrable experience in using SQL to derive actionable insights, either in commercial or academic setting (must have)
  • Knowledge of Python / R and desire to expand your knowledge
  • Experience with statistical modeling and descriptive statistics
  • Experience in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Experience in leading and executing end-to-end BI projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in other languages such as German, Spanish, and Italian is a plus
  • Ability to gather, organize, analyze, and report large volumes of financial data with speed and accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to provide high-quality work efficiently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt and work in a quickly changing environment, managing competing demands
