Are you the one who can lead our packaging operations to success?

As a Packaging Operations Manager, you will be responsible for organizing the team of coordinators to guarantee the availability of packaging in our production sites and from providers, ensuring timely, quality, and cost-effective solutions.

You will act as the organizer of campaigns to guarantee packaging availability at fruit suppliers in time and form, and continuously finding and implementing improvements in sourcing packaging elements and operations with suppliers, are crucial to your success.

Your role highlights – your responsibilities

  • You will work in the internal organization of the team of coordinators, defining responsibilities, detecting workloads and proposing solutions.
  • You will act as a link between planner, coordinators, back office, the packaging director and other departments.
  • You will define business models with material distributors and close legal agreements.
  • You will find and implement improvements in the sourcing of packaging elements/operation with fruit/packaging suppliers.
  • You will participate in one-off company projects involving the PBO team of assigned products.
  • You will work in team development by managing new hires, scholarship holders, and handle performance management.
  • You will set objectives and monitor their achievements, establishing shifts and holidays and ensuring motivation and team spirit.

Requirements

  • You have studies in Product Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
  • You are fluent in English and Spanish; German would be a plus.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a similar position with team leader experience.
  • You are well-structured in your daily working routine with excellent communication skills, a team player and have the ability to adapt to unforeseen changes. Process management skills are highly valued.
