We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Logistics Consultant to join our Data Management and Landscape Transformation team at SAP SE. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for delivering data migration and transformation services to our clients in Spain and globally.
Key Responsibilities- Develop expertise in configuring data migration and transformation tools to meet client needs.
- Execute data migration and transformation delivery activities in projects, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
- Analyze and resolve issues resulting from customer testing, providing effective solutions and recommendations.
- Build competencies and expertise to become a solution expert in data migration and transformation, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Develop best practice documents and onboard colleagues, demonstrating ability to scale and lead by example.
- Identify customer logistics business needs and design and architect appropriate solution proposals from the Data Management & Landscape Transformation portfolio.
- Lead and drive customer opportunities throughout all engagement phases, architecting potential solution designs and delivering results.
- Lead and facilitate customer workshops and discussions to validate best solution designs for customer requirements.
- Lead the delivery of DMLT projects remotely and onsite, in distributed regional and global teams.
- Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses, supported by SAP DMLT technology and methodology.
- Contribute to continuously enhance the DMLT solution design according to changing market requirements and identify potential enhancements, improving our service offering.
- Strong background in SAP Modules – SD, MM, PP, PM with good understanding of SAP data model for at least 2 of the modules.
- Closely collaborate with people in different roles across the company, establishing and maintaining trustful relationships with Market Unit colleagues and customers.
- 7-10 years of technical experience in consulting delivery, with a strong track record of delivering SAP data migration projects.
- Technical delivery of minimum 2 SAP data migration projects, with expertise in SAP ABAP programming languages, debugging, and interfaces.
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC / S4HANA data model and sound understanding of processes in Logistics application modules.
- Strong exposure to working with SAP customers from different industry segments, such as Public Sector, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Utilities, Automobile, etc.
- Experience in working on new implementation projects on S4HANA, leveraging Migration Cockpit, Data Services, or Migration WorkBench Tool, and implementing data migration objects in the SD, MM, PP, PM modules.
- SAP DMLT tools, methodology, and data migration experience is beneficial.
- Process know-how for essential business processes like Lead-2-Cash, Procure-2-Pay, Design-2-Operate, or Hire-2-Retire is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and moderation skills, strong team spirit, and fluency in English required.
- High customer focus and business impact, team player, work in a collaborative manner, proactive networking attributes, results, and execution focus.
- Availability to travel (10% - 30%).
- Experience working in international customer projects is a plus.
