We are seeking a highly skilled Business Loan Support Specialist to join our team at SVI Recruiting Group.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and financial industry knowledge, with excellent communication and organizational skills. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating SBA loan applications, preparing complete loan packages, and facilitating the processing of loans through credit and closing areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with National Sales Managers, BDOs, Underwriters, and Closers to develop, onboard, and close new loan opportunities.
- Manage and process SBA 7a, 504, USDA, and other government-guaranteed loan applications.
- Facilitate the processing of loans through the credit and closing areas.
- Coordinate directly with customers to retrieve additional information or clarify information throughout the entire process.
- Maintain accurate information within the bank's loan origination system (SPARK) by uploading various documents and keeping current terms, stages, dates, and other relevant data points.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA) or equivalent from a college or university.
- 1 year of customer service experience or relevant work experience and/or training.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of financial institution departments and activities.
- Knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations, Bank policies and procedures, and the Bank's products and services.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service via phone, email, and in-person and excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Microsoft Office suite required with strong Excel skills.
Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per annum.
