As a member of our e-powertrain team, you'll be responsible for carrying out validation tests for future batteries in our state-of-the-art battery safety laboratory. You'll conduct abuse tests, including thermal propagation and fire tests. The position will be based in our premises in Santa Oliva, Spain.
Responsibilities- Test preparation and sample instrumentation: Configure test devices and data acquisition systems, and supervise the installation of sensors and wiring.
- Test execution: Conduct tests according to project requirements, following established procedures and client indications.
- Test data analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of test data and elaborate comprehensive reports.
- Process development and improvement: Scrutinize existing testing configurations, procedures, and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality, ensuring customer satisfaction. Propose new ideas to expand our services portfolio.
- Electronic, electrical, telecommunications engineering degree or equivalent.
- Master's degree in power electronics, automotive field, or related will be an asset.
- Good knowledge in electronics, electricity, communication protocols, and programming.
- Knowledge in energy storage systems and power electronics will be valued.
- Strong analytic and repair skills (problem solver mentality), technical curiosity, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of CAN communication and control tools: VECTOR CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer.
- Experience in measurement technology and data acquisition systems.
- Enthusiasm for measurement data analysis, spanning from initial post-processing to the meticulous reporting of final results.
- Interest in new technologies, automotive, and electric vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence in discussions to effectively convey findings and insights to customers.
- Committed, goal-driven, result-oriented, and strong service orientation.
- High level of assertiveness, team spirit, and proactive attitude. Open to work in an international company with a multicultural team.
- Written and oral fluency in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of other languages, particularly German, will be appreciated.
