About the Role

Solaqua is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Strategy and Operations to lead and drive the company's growth and development. As a key member of the founding team, you will be responsible for formulating and executing the company's mission, vision, and global strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the company's annual business plan, aligning with the Board of Directors' vision.
  • Drive local and international business development, delivering on set objectives and co-creating activities as planned.
  • Design and implement fundraising plans, representing the company in local and international fora, institutions, and events.
  • Build and lead a high-performing diverse team, creating an inclusive environment and offering opportunities for staff to excel.
  • Lead strategy and operations with a minimum of 10 years of work experience and 4 years in a management position.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Spanish and English.
  • Proven track record in creating and growing business models within international and matrixed environments.
  • High tolerance to ambiguity and adaptability, with a balance between short, medium, and long-term objectives.
  • Technical background and/or experience in the PV market, PV self-consumption, or irrigation systems for agriculture, is a plus.
