Job Title: Aeronautical Engineer

At Airbus Defence and Space, we are seeking a highly skilled Aeronautical Engineer to join our MRTT Quality Operations Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct quality inspections and attestation of work orders to ensure compliance with defined standards.
  • Perform operational surveillance to ensure the quality of people, products, and processes.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to operations and support functions on quality issues and observations.
  • Participate in process improvements and support the Q planner in building driver models, cost control, and OP definition.

Requirements:

  • University degree in a technical domain, e.g., computer science, telecommunications engineering, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in quality procedures and regulations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering.
  • Experience in direct contact with final customers will be valuable.
  • High adaptability to work on new topics, new business, and in a network mode.
  • Familiar with agile software development processes and methods.
  • State-of-the-art paradigms in quality processes and improvement tools would be valuable.
  • Knowledge in planning systems is beneficial.
  • English negotiation level required.
  • Spanish negotiation level required.
