At Wallbox, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our Controlling & Reporting team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a vital role in providing strategic financial guidance to drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Salary

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

As a Senior Controller within our Controlling & Reporting team, your mission is to ensure accurate financial reporting, optimize controlling processes, and support the business in achieving its financial goals through effective collaboration and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports to senior management, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts, analyzing budget variances and providing actionable insights to business units.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor financial metrics and provide regular updates and recommendations to improve business performance.
  • Cost Control: Implement and maintain effective cost control measures, collaborating with business units to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a financial advisor to business units, providing guidance on financial matters and facilitating effective communication between finance and other departments.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in financial reporting and controlling, streamlining workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strategic Planning: Support long-term strategic planning and financial modeling, assisting in evaluating potential investments and business opportunities.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies, engaging with internal and external stakeholders to provide financial insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial controlling and reporting.
