Key Responsibilities
- Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement category strategies aligned with the company's overall business goals, identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
- Procurement Process Management: Ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements. Develop KPIs to measure effectiveness of category strategy and activities
- Market Analysis and Benchmarking: Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify industry trends, potential suppliers, and competitive pricing. Provide insights and recommendations
- Procurement Operations: Supplier Setup and Management: Establish and manage a network of reliable suppliers. Oversee the onboarding process, including supplier visits, contract negotiations, compliance checks, and performance evaluations
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions
