Job Description- Develop, implement, and execute sourcing strategies for packaging materials across Europe, focusing on value creation and sustainability.
- Manage service for packaging material supply, collaborating with internal and external partners to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
- Monitor capacity and capability at suppliers, ensuring seamless integration with contract coverage on key materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, driving results through inclusive motivation and passion.
- Execute contract negotiations, leveraging business and digital tools to drive value creation and efficiency.
- Follow market conditions and lead price forecasting cycles to enable informed decision-making and cash forecasting.
- Contribute towards packaging sustainability commitments, including key metrics such as NDPE and plastic reduction.
- Deliver net productivity (cost savings/value creation) and optimize packaging to be cost-effective while serving its technical and consumer purpose.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related subject.
- Minimum five years' experience in procurement and supply chain, with industry experience and knowledge a plus.
- A proven track record of success in procurement and negotiations, with experience working with long-term business strategies.
- Pro-active stakeholder management and complex communication across ranks and functions, with strong analytics skills and a deep knowledge of Excel.
