Global Sales Director for Residential Construction

We are seeking an experienced Global Sales Director to lead our residential construction sales efforts in a dynamic and expanding market.
About the RoleThis key position will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic relationships with builders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a deep understanding of the construction industry, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to increase sales of stone surfacing products within the new home construction market.
- Establish and grow relationships with targeted builder accounts through cold calling, scheduling appointments, and meeting with potential and existing builders.
- Capture and communicate competitive product information and their activities within each account.
- Schedule contracts for both standard specifications and upgrades.
The successful candidate will prioritize building profiles, key contacts, decision makers, and plan activities to grow, defend, or recapture businesses using Salesforce. This includes communicating product features and their influence within each account, collaborating with local, regional, and national peers to ensure highest level of coordination, segment penetration, and customer satisfaction, and continuously liaising between the Company, the builder, and fabricators for up-to-date conditions on pricing, services, latest product releases, launches, and introductions.
Business IntelligenceThe selected individual will prepare action plans to identify specific targets and project the number of contacts to be made. They will work with the General Manager and Sales Team to execute business strategy for all customer segments in the area. Additionally, they will assist in the development of the annual sales and marketing plan for the segment within assigned territory, evaluate and place point of sale positioning in model homes, design centers, and showrooms, maintain accurate relationship, product placement, and project details with updated developments within project management database (Sales Force CRM), execute and communicate marketing initiatives, and implement strategies to support new product introductions and product extensions to other areas of the home.
Requirements- A strong background in sales, preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other relevant software applications.
$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
