About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Barcelo Isla Canela. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Job Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Greet and assist guests upon arrival and departure, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk area, handle check-ins and check-outs, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication: Respond to phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions, manage cash and credit card payments, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
  • Education: Cycle Formativo de Grado Medio in Hosteleria y Turismo or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality setting.
  • Languages: Fluent English, Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Skills: Basic computer knowledge, familiarity with hotel management systems, excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
