About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Civil Design Manager to lead our Road and Utilities team at ARTELIA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership, operational management, and team development within the Infrastructure engineering industry, with a focus on outsourcing design projects in Denmark and the Nordics region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Develop and execute departmental strategies aligned with the company's objectives, drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance and efficiency, and stay abreast of industry trends, markets, and regulatory changes for strategic decision-making.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the department, collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize utilization.
- Team Development: Recruit and retain top talent to build a high-performing team, and promote a culture of learning and innovation within the team.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and clients, serve as a primary point of contact and represent the department and company at events, conferences, and networking forums.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 8 years of experience in Civil Design Engineering, with 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proficiency in Civil 3D software. Knowledge and experience in Bentley OpenRoads is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of driving business results, managing budgets, and achieving operational excellence.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
