We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys. Process all check-outs, including resolving any late and disputed charges.
- Payment Processing: Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks.
- Guest Communication: Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Reporting and Administration: Run daily reports, identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- Team Collaboration: Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications.
- Communication Skills: Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Anticipate and address guests' service needs; develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Physical Demands: Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
