We are seeking a Senior Business Consultant to join our EMEA Consulting Services team, which strives for consulting excellence, efficiency in configuration and standardization, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across divisions and market units.
About the Role
As a Senior Business Consultant, you will be part of the Accounting and Operations Service Line, responsible for the implementation of accounting solutions, financial instruments, and IBOR foundation in SimCorp Dimension for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise and assist clients with the use of SimCorp Dimension in their daily operational work, acting as a facilitator between end-users and the financial system.
- Conduct workshops to explore client requirements, working with clients and SimCorp's team to capture, define, and suggest the most adapted solution.
- Build, deliver, and test configuration work in aspects of SimCorp Dimension based on client requirements, mainly in fund accounting and accounting.
- Advise on process improvements through better use of SimCorp Dimension and contribute to improve and document best practices for implementations.
- Follow the budget of your stream and coordinate the team you work with.
- Constantly expand your knowledge of SimCorp Dimension and the clients' business to ensure clients get the optimal value/outcome from their SimCorp Dimension usage.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within service line projects and tasks.
- Work in close cooperation with the project manager and have a key role in leading projects to success.
- Identify opportunities to offer tailored services beyond the project scope to our customers in your role as a trusted advisor.
- Contribute to improving best practices for implementation processes and promote topics across projects.
- Actively participate in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international level.
Requirements
- You have in-depth knowledge about the business at asset managers, fund managers, insurers, or banks.
- You like to deep dive into business processes in investment management and enjoy modeling them in our software.
