Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Academic Coordinator to join our team in Mérida. As a key member of our academic staff, you will be responsible for promoting our school, teaching groups of students, and guiding our teachers in class preparation and student evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promotion and Outreach
    • Promote the school and establish relationships with potential partners to increase enrollment and revenue.
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development
    • Teach groups of students from 1 to 7, following established curriculum guidelines and ensuring high-quality instruction.
    • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to measure student progress.
  • Teacher Support and Evaluation
    • Provide guidance and support to teachers in class preparation, student evaluation, and other educational events.
    • Evaluate teacher performance and provide constructive feedback to improve instructional practices.
  • Student Progress and Development
    • Monitor student progress, attendance, grades, and reports to ensure academic success.
    • Conduct regular meetings with students and parents to discuss progress and address concerns.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay up-to-date with best practices in education and curriculum development to ensure excellence in teaching and learning.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
    • Advanced or Proficiency level in English (C1 or higher).
  • Personal Qualities
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.
