About Us

Acai Travel is a fast-growing startup that specializes in building AI-driven products for the travel industry. Our mission is to revolutionize the way people travel by leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence to enhance customer experiences and streamline operations.

We are currently in the seed stage with significant traction and backing from top industry veterans. Our teams are based in New York and Barcelona, and we're looking for a passionate and experienced UX/UI designer to join our team.

Role Overview

As our Senior Product Designer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and interface design of our AI-based platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that solve complex problems in the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design process, from research and ideation through to prototyping and testing, for both our B2B and B2C products.
  • Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces that enhance customer journeys for users in the travel space.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design concepts.
  • Establish and maintain design systems and UI pattern libraries that ensure consistency across our digital platforms.
  • Collaborate with all teams to incorporate AI-driven features into the UI/UX design, ensuring a user-friendly interface for complex AI functionalities.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of UX/UI design experience, preferably with a focus on AI-driven platforms, SaaS products, or the travel industry.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your UX/UI work, particularly on complex, data-driven products.
  • Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proven experience conducting user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate on designs.
