About the Role
Media.Monks is seeking a skilled Social Media Designer to create and adapt designs for social media platforms. This role involves collaborating with a creative team to devise an overall concept, analyzing regional and local market requirements, and ensuring quality, brand guidelines, and visual executions across different channels.
Responsibilities
- Generate clear ideas in tandem with the content team to support local markets with the conceptual and visual execution of campaigns for an iconic automotive brand.
- Understand social media initiatives, strategic position, and target audience.
- Take work from concept to final execution within deadlines.
- Manage the visual side of the Social Media Calendar.
- Conduct image research: sourcing the best visuals to achieve the strongest composition for each campaign and deliverable.
- Present complete ideas and the art designs of social media client/team members.
- Own smaller projects or a small part of bigger projects and make sure that all design tasks are completed with an excellent outcome.
About You
- 3 years of proven experience working as an Art designer.
- Significant Adobe CC skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, etc).
- Bonus points if you are competent in additional programs (I.E. Figma, Sketch, AfterEffects, editing/color-editing).
- Fluent in English.
- Clear understanding of fundamentals such as typography, interaction design, flow, and storytelling.
- Not afraid of doing repetitive work when necessary.
- Experience with PowerPoint/G-slides and putting together client decks.
- Curiosity, creativity, above-average commitment, a keen eye for detail, and a high visual quality standard.
- Great team player and willing to walk the extra mile, always supporting the whole team with your craft and ideas.
- Humble and open to feedback and proactive in seeking ways to develop when time allows.
