**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced Electronics and Mechanical Engineering Development Supervisor to join our team at GMV. This role involves overseeing the supervision and control of design projects within the Transport Division (ITS).

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. Follow up work related to electronic and mechanical design to ensure that deadlines and technical specifications are met.
  2. Maintain fluid communication with the electronic and mechanical engineering teams to verify that the work follows the defined standards and requirements.
  3. Resolve technical issues that may arise in collaboration with designers and other engineers involved in the works.
  4. Generate periodic reports on the status of the work, identifying possible deviations and proposing corrective actions.
  5. Maintain continuous communication with suppliers to clarify technical requirements and ensure compatibility of purchased components and materials.
  6. Provide technical support on embedded Linux systems, assisting in the integration of electronic designs with embedded operating systems.


**Requirements**
  • Engineer with a strong background in electronics (including circuit design, electronic components, and systems).
  • Working knowledge of CAD/CAE tools and electronic design software (such as Altium, OrCAD, or similar).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing, testing, and assembly processes for electronic and mechanical components.
  • Experience in embedded Linux systems, with the ability to work on configurations, optimisation, and troubleshooting in embedded hardware environments.
