Job Title: Event Driven Integration Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Driven Integration Architect to join our team at Roche. As a key member of our digital transformation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical design and delivery of real-time integration capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver technical integration solutions that meet business requirements
  • Mentor and guide solution designers and developers in best practices for event-driven integration design and development
  • Lead technical design activities for integration patterns, including API, real-time integration, and event broker/advanced messaging
  • Establish and maintain technical guidelines, standards, and developer productivity tools
  • Own the technical design and delivery of high-performing, scalable APIs and interfaces
  • Manage technical delivery teams to ensure on-time delivery and high quality
  • Provide technical leadership and collaborate with partner teams to deliver resilient solutions and promote event-driven architecture
  • Perform reviews of integration solution design and technical design
  • Work with the integration platform team to enhance platform capabilities
  • Harvest and publish reusable integration assets in the Roche Global Integration Marketplace
  • Collaborate with various IT teams for cutover readiness
  • Engineer innovations in event-led integration platforms
  • Deliver tools, accelerators, and platform enhancements
  • Detailed requirement gathering and technical design activities for real-time integration and event broker/advanced messaging
  • Ensure the right usage of CI/CD framework for delivery and innovate the DevOps pipeline for better productivity and resilience
  • Develop accelerators and best practices for continuous innovation, better quality, and implementation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in integration, with at least 2+ years of experience in Solace (or comparable event-driven technologies)
  • Solid working knowledge of integration patterns, including API and real-time integration
  • Hands-on experience in setting up pub-sub cloud, pub-sub on-premise, and event mesh in at least one customer place/enterprise scaled project, Solace Platform preferred
  • Minimum 1 related certification in the last 3 years, Solace certified Platform Architect preferred (or comparable event-driven technologies)
  • Experience in MuleSoft, SAP CPI tool is an added advantage
  • Should have worked in hybrid integration platform and IPaaS capabilities
  • Experience in DevOps CI/CD capabilities
  • Experience in complex integration projects and application support issue resolutions with virtual teams across the globe
  • Good track record of driving continuous improvements, delivering big projects, and managing big teams in a global organization
