As a Senior Java Developer for In-House Application, you will be responsible for maintaining, evolving, and developing an in-house application with interfaces to SAP modules. Key Responsibilities
• Enhance the in-house application platform to meet the additional requirements for upcoming rollouts across Europe.
• Take the role of a member in an Agile Scrum team using JIRA/Confluence.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to define requirements together.
• Keep Quality Assurance & Automation practices very present.
• Ensure top-notch 3rd level support for your application.
Requirements
• Long-term Java development experience (6-7 years minimum)
• Practical experience in Java 8, Spring 4, Hibernate 5, Swing, JDBC, Soap
• Practical experience with Maven 3, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube
• Deep knowledge of SQL and especially Microsoft SQL Server (2016 Standard Edition)
• Professional working experience with Microsoft Windows & Linux
• A broad knowledge of software patterns, OO-design, and 3-Tier architecture
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams

The selected candidates will be hired as internal and permanent employees, based in Madrid, but providing services to their global organization.
Job Location
The job location is Madrid, with initial ramp-up phase mainly carried out at Madrid during the first weeks. Afterwards, every 3-4 months, a 3-4-days trip to Austria, Germany, or Switzerland will be needed to understand new business requirements.
