Alight Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Global Payroll Operations Specialist to join our team. This role involves independently processing payroll end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of MS Office tools and excellent written and verbal skills.
About the RoleIn this position, you will contribute to the execution of payroll activities and/or data management/customer services, adhering to strict SLA timescales. You will be responsible for:
- Independently processing payroll end-to-end, meeting agreed-upon KPIs and processing calendars;
- Supporting statutory and year-end reporting in line with agreed calendars and KPIs;
- Using payroll expertise to advise on client queries and ensure compliance with country-specific legislation;
- Liaising with third parties and maintaining SOC controls;
- Contributing to root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures;
- Maintaining DWIs and ensuring processes are up-to-date;
- Reporting system issues and logging tickets with necessary details;
- Raising deviations from standard scope of service to Service Managers;
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Flexibility to support a global and fast-paced environment;
- Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal skills;
- Self-motivation and a willingness to learn;
- Able to collaborate and work in a team environment while adhering to processes and procedures;
We require a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field such as Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of [Estimated Salary: $60,000] per annum salary package is offered, reflecting the company's commitment to compensating its employees fairly based on market standards and industry norms for similar positions in Belgium.
