**Electrode Process Engineer Opportunity at Basquevolt**

Basquevolt is a pioneering company in the development of solid-state lithium batteries, working towards becoming the European leader in this field. Our technology aims to enable the mass deployment of electric transportation, stationary energy storage, and advanced portable devices.

As an Electrode Process Engineer at Basquevolt, you will play a crucial role in defining and optimizing electrode manufacturing processes for our proprietary Li-ion cells. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and scaling up assigned responsibility processes, including slurry manufacturing to slitting
  • Defining appropriate equipment for production of LFP electrodes
  • Determining process critical parameters to optimize process conditions and ensure cell build consistency
  • Collaborating with machine suppliers during equipment design to incorporate necessary capabilities and processes
  • Providing process documentation (PFMEA, Control Plan) for newly developed processes and assembly concepts
  • Confirming process standards based on optimal equipment operation and process conditions through process capability analysis and statistical process analysis
  • Supporting the optimization of electrode composition and processing to enhance electrochemical and manufacturing quality and performance
  • Analyzing process data and communicating results with cross-functional teams to drive improvements
  • Investigating equipment-related issues, providing root cause analysis, and supporting timely corrective actions
  • Developing process sheets for the assigned area to ensure clarity and consistency in manufacturing procedures
